Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

20 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

fellow from california flew up with his wife to seattle this weekend...he stopped by to look at my car for sale and purchased it. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...l-ims-rms.html *only one problem....we had a snow storm all day and no way to test drive so he left a $1000 non-refundable deposit and will be back up here in february when his wife is scheduled to move here for her job transfer. real nice guy and very patient wife. should work out well. we got about 8" today.

POST 2Original post

Please send some to Yakima. We (ok, I) need some here. To cold to lanscape, and no snow for snow plowing cash flow. I hear some is coming our way. Awesome on selling it. I was toying with the idea for a second, family car You will LOVE the turbo!

POST 4Original post

Wow, that's timing; congratulations on the sale!

POST 5Original post

Great photo. Only thing missing is a 996 coming down the road. Do they have cable cars up there? I'm wondering what the wire grid is over the road.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks...i have 2 other buyers ready to go if this guy backs out but he is excited as hell, gave me the $1000 non refundable deposit and his wife was here to approve. gotta love that should be back up here in about 4 weeks then i get serious about the turbo hunt

POST 7Original post

Wow, that was a quick sale. I always seem to have trouble unloading my cars. Can I ask, how did you advertise it?

POST 8Original post

Congrats, you may be one of the 996 owners with the shortest ownership period. Soon you can begin the turbo hunt in earnest...unless you already pulled the trigger. Way to go.

POST 10Original post

Congrats on the sale! That was quick, ah? I am sure you are going to start a new thread on potential Turbos to buy. Oh wait, probably on the Turbo forum

POST 11Original post

I saw your car on pelican... Congrats! The turbo is you to be a lot of fun

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks guys and thanks for the compliment on our house. yeah it was very short ownership...i bought the car mid-november 2011 paying cash in full and didn't receive the registration from the DOL until 12/16 which means the title won't arrive for a 3-4 weeks so this deal works out for both me and the buyer. the dealer i purchased the car from sat on the paperwork until he had a bundle of sold cars to re-title. sort of a drag and pretty lame on his part. by the end of february i should have close to $40K scraped together provided my wife stays the hell out of nordstrom's.

*going to be a lot of fun (On mobile.... Don't see an "edit post" option)

POST 15Original post

Congrats. With your pedigree of cars (holy cow), that turbo might be considered down-grading.

POST 16Original post

My plan is to wait 6 months fly to Cali and buy the awesome turbo GZ has for sale... Congrats on the quick sale and have fun with the search

Whoops unless they move Seatle south I'll have to fly to Washington.

POST 18Original post

Congrats on your quick sale and happy turbo hunting!

POST 19Original post

Good thing he showed up last week, when Seattle had a "dusting" of snow. Looks like the real deal is on the way. Up to 2 feet expected (per weather channel).

babylonboots: to answer your question, the wires above the street are for the electric buses. these buses also run on diesel but all buses on capitol hill are electric.
