Gorgeous Arizona day. 83 and sunny so I had to take my baby out for a spin after her bath. So, why exactly does a clean Porsche seem to run better than a dirty one? (You know its true!)

i believe all cars drive better when clean. mine drives better as there is less drag. i think the reflection in the paint also helps but not sure why. cerainly the attention to detail is worth something too. yes, it is true.

Yes, a clean 911 does run better, especially if the Throttle Body Butterfly is clean! Cleaning out the gunk that accumulates around the butterfly from the crankcase vent return will help the low speed response and idle of any 996.

The other day I watched a video from Adam's polishes and decided I needed to clean mine. Last night, washed, clayed, polished, and waxed the outside. Still need to condition leather, wash engine and clean the ragtop today. Then, good to go for a few months. I'm sure she will run better...

Randy, I use Meguire's leather cleaner / conditioner. I put on the seats and trim today. It's good to treat and let the leather absorb it for a day or two. It really softens the leather and takes care of the scuff marks.
