Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am almost finished installing the IMS Guardian but I can't seem to figure out how to get to the body plugs inside the car. I don't know exactly how the panels come off and the carpet comes up and I feel like when I am doing a bit on tugging that something might break. Anyone have any pictures or write ups that they can point me towards to get this interior sorted before I lose it and really start ripping! Thanks

POST 2Original post

There is a grommet behind the battery near the steering column. I've used this one for running various wires external to the car. Perhaps you could fish the wire through the trans tunnel (remove panels) then into the front drivers wheel well cavity (remove cowling) through an opening into the battery area (remove cowling) and through that grommet. That way there's no carpet to rip up (which is somewhat a PITA in itself). Would be curious to see where others have run it.

POST 3Original post

Underneath the carpeting on the vertical wall going up to the rear (driver's side) seat has a plug as well. I used that with a coat hanger to feed the wire through to an opening outside, in front of the rear wheel towards center of car.. That is a really unclear aspect of the install, in both the pdf version and the video.
