Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 2001 C4 has the power seat package but does not appear to have the lumbar adjustment. Is the lumbar a separate option? Since I don't have it is there any way to adjust the lumbar manually?

POST 2Original post

Sorry to say, but as your car does not have the lumbar adjustment, therefore none is fitted to the car. There is no adjustment possible. I have bought an aftermarket one. http://www.sportsimportsltd.com/inseluinairc.html

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, I wonder if I could go in and take out the existing lumbar bladder or whatever is in there? Its not real uncomfortable but I prefer no lumber.

POST 4Original post

It's unlikely that there is any lumbar bladder in the seat. However, it's quite easy to remove the centre panel on the seat to check. It's just clipped at the base of the back of the seat back and then flips up.

[QUOTE=Porsche87;9140785]My 2001 C4 has the power seat package but does not appear to have the lumbar adjustment. Is the lumbar a separate option? Since I don't have it is there any way to adjust the lumbar manually? I believe that the lumber adjustment is an option when ordering the new car from Stuttgart.

POST 6Original post

I have the lumbar support option in my C4S. It's part of the "comfort seat" option package.
