This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looks kinda crazy the way it flaps out like that:

POST 2Original post

Stock rear bumper cover with OEM rear skirts added.

POST 3Original post

I have to agree with OP; the way the Aero rear "flaps" out just doesnt do it as nice as the front bumpeR, rear wing and side skirts are on the 996.1 Aero. IMO, rear bumpers on a 996.1 need some help; i.e., aftermarket mod or better left alone.

Looks much better from directly behind... and stunning in white! Thanks for the info, guys.

POST 7Original post

Yep, those skirts were part of the factory standard GT3 Aero Kit starting in 1999 and running forward in the Mk I. Street stock and competition Euro GT3's had them. Could be ordered here as part of the Aero Kit package, or were standard as part of the GT Aero Kit, along with the "wickerbill" on the taco spoiler (which the grey car pictured above has).

POST 9Original post

^^ that view is way better. it is a complement to the whole enchilada Aerokit; better left alone as Pete mentioned, but.... looks awkward in OP's pic. FWIW, here's an Aero without the flaps:

POST 10Original post

I have a pair of those painted seal grey if anyone is interested. I liked the look but removed due to added weight.
