Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone know the 2002 tiptronic turbo Momentum Porsche in Houston has listed for sale? It's reported to be a 4 owner car with 41k miles, just taking a shot here to see if anyone knows the car. I have read some very poor reviews on the dealership. Any advice would be appreciated. Thamks, John

POST 2Original post

Sweet vehicle. Price is right. That's what I'm talking about.

POST 3Original post

Might check on the 996 Turbo forum. Just because the dealership is iffy, doesn't mean the car is bad. If it was a dog they would probably send it to auction. It is too old for a CPO though. The 4 owners is a concern, so a good independent PPI is a must. If they won't let you have an indy PPI it, then I would be concerned. See if they can pull all the service records. If it has been serviced by Porsche they will be able to do that. That said, if you are interested, check it out completely and make a decision.

POST 4Original post

I wouldn't buy a tire valve cap from Momentum. Get any and ALL promises in writing before you sign.
