Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

They're used but these things go for like $150 each.

Suggestion
I bought turbo air ducts that I'm not going to use (don't ask) I'll sell them for what I paid ($150 including shipping) if you're interested.

Suggestion
That car uses the same radiator as a Turbo and C4S.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Ok, let me make sure I have this straight.
996 505 311 05 will not fit because it was for WB Turbo and C4S.
996 GT3 MkII Cover will fit. But I don't like it.
Does anyone have the part number for the narrow body bumpercover that came on the 996 40th Anniversary? Seems like that would be the easiest way to get a Turbo look cover. Factory part even.
Asked at DC, they didn't have the part number.
Tommy,
If your car is a Mark II I don't see any reason Turbo/C4S front bumper wont fit??
Wide body is only at the rear so front fenders, bumpers...etc.. all the same.
Hi i have a 02 996 and would like to install the C4S front bumper cover on it, is there an issue with the radiator cover/intake duct alignment when going from the stock to C4S bumper cover?
Do you need the C4S radiator cover/intake duct parts too?
I just put a turbo bumper cover on my 996 NB. Direct bolt on. I bought turbo air ducts that I'm not going to use (don't ask) I'll sell them for what I paid ($150 including shipping) if you're interested. They're used but these things go for like $150 each.
axeman, are you sure the 20th anniversary bumper is a direct bolt on, specifically, the connection to the radiator air intake ducts.
Ther are posts wher guys have just added a turbo front bumper with out the correct ait intake ducts. They say it "works" but Porsche specialists say it it a bad idea.
i am in the processs of working out the instalation of the turbo bumper With some sort of Conversion of the air inlet ducts to mate up to the turbo bumper. It is not a trivial thing.
The 25th anniversary bumper looks very much like a turbo bumper, and my guess it that it would require the turbo air intake ducts.
Problem is , that you can just go out and buy the Turbo intake ducts, but they do not fit the stock radiators.
The more i dig into this , the correct conversion includes the conversion of the radiators, condensore , inlets , outlets and a bunch of other stuff to do this correctly.
Joe, I only provided the bumper part #, I never said it would be a direct bolt on
I believe the bumper will bolt-on without any issues, but the air ducts/radiators are different on the 40th anniversary edition. That car uses the same radiator as a Turbo and C4S. By the way I think we met tonight at Kevin's.
Good luck with the project!
Axeman is correct, the bumper is a direct fit, the radiators on a C2 are significantly smaller than a turbo or C4. I put a turbo bumper on my car but I had different issues, way too long to go through again. The air ducts for the turbo bumper will not match the radiators. I'm sure you can mount them somehow, but they'll need to be fabricated somehow.
I'm running without the air ducts. I don't have much choice. I hope I'm not messing anything up.
Is it bad to run without air ducts?
