Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

21 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello all, I am coming from the 993 forum and have spent the past year learning about the 996 and specifically the widebody c4S. I found this Southern US vehicle a few months ago and felt very comfortable knowing I was dealing with another Rennlister. He was terrific to deal with. It has 40,000 miles with some tasteful upgrades, and a lovely sounding after-market exhaust. This will be a summer car and she is tucked away in the garage next to the VW Beetle on wheel dollies. I am enclosing the mandatory pics and wish to thank the forum members for all of their help over the past year as I learned about the 996.
