Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I know the "flavor" has changed since the Tim - Phil days, but we still have SOME fun

Suggestion
And I would think the movie companies would just use a 996, instead of some Frankenstein car.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'll have it back to normal soon and Phil will be proud of me again.
You mean I could jump my car landing hard all over the place filming it even for evidence of abuse and get over triple what the car is worth? Sign me up!!!!!
"Car appears to have been stolen on more than one occasion. Multiple accidents including full frontal impact with a plate-glass window. On the brighter side, Angelina Jolie has left a slight posterior imprint in the driver's side seat, which can be contour-moulded to your own anatomy."
Interesting.. a fake 996 built with a '78 running gear.. ?! Seems like a lot of work.. but I guess at the time of filming, the 996 was the latest 911 and they were not as cheap compared to now...

dont get to see you much these days,....good to have you around. I know the "flavor" has changed since the Tim - Phil days, but we still have SOME fun
when Marc isnt looking
I still love to hang out here. To be honest, living long distance from my family has consumed all of my energy, so that's why I've not been around much. As I type this I'm standing supervising the movers unloading into my new house.... It's nice to have my family in the same place with me again.... Maybe I'll soon have the energy to hassle you guys again.
Exciting is one way to phrase it. This relo has probably been my least favorite to date. I'll be glad to have this all done in the next couple of days.... It's going to be so nice to be unpacked in a few days, then mayve we can work in getting back to normality after then.
Did you buy in NC? Have you sold your Philly home? Haven't seen you around since you became a southerner...nice to see you posting. How's your pristine white aero?
We did. I'm still standing here watching the movers unload. We ended up buying in Apex... Our house in Philly closed last week.
As for my aero it's sitting waiting to be washed - it will be so nice to have my garage and tools back.... Much as it's nice to be able to drive it most of the year, it did lose it's garage queen status for a while. Once we get everything unpacked I'll give it a good detailing to make up for 7 months of being a daily driver.
Apex is near raleigh and Cary... Nice small town.
The real estate market totally sucks... Brutally so. The bigger kicker is that the mortgage companies make life as difficult as possible. We have near perfect credit scores and enough liquid assets to buy the house outright and they still made life hell. Bank of America were so incompetent throughout the process that we'll be closing our accounts with them once were done with the move.... I hope we don't have to move again soon.
So where is beech Mtn?
Hey, I've loved every minute of it, but I have to say that I hate to see clocking up the miles and I do feel bad about not being able to give the regular detailing jobs to keep it looking spiffy... I'll have it back to normal soon and Phil will be proud of me again.
Looking at the pics in the ad:
1) in the movie, once the 996 is on the street and turning, it looks like a CAB with a hardtop! (look at the rear roofline/rear window contours)
2) Lets see.. "lease" a cab for non stunts.. couple hundred bucks.. Or buy a then new 996 for $75-90K. I agree that it was certainly cheaper to buy a $10K SC and spend another $10-20 making it look "good enough" for a few takes of a crash scene than waste money on a real one.
