Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was sitting in my car waiting, 2 guys backed to my front bumper, in just half hour! It's a huge spot in front of my car, at least 5 feet. Now question is which insurance company I go after? The first guy?

POST 2Original post

sucks.... perks of a lowered car. Try double dippin.

POST 3Original post

both... and FYI... that tiny bump might cost a whole lot more to repair than anyone would thing by looking at it... you MUST DEMAND the right paint!!!

POST 4Original post

I just started a photo collection of people that couldn't park AT THE DMV here in North Carolina, bad parkers are everywhere!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

now i really scared of taking the car out. if i wasn't in the car, i would be really screwed. here in NY, nobody will leave u a note if they hit u car.

POST 6Original post

Welcome to New York. Rule 1. Park as far away as possible.

POST 7Original post

Here's the thing: The LI'ers belief in their parking abilities is inversely proportional to their distance from Manhattan. I can say this with full confidence as I was fully confident that I could park "between anything." If one actually lives in the City (and owns a car; a rarity) one learns to parallel park properly, because else, you double park, or you don't park. When parking in the City, best you can do is one of those bumper protector jobs, black rubber if you must park there. Why were people parallel parking in Long Island? The strip mall run out of parking spots?

Rule 2. They will park next to you anyway.

Where??? I bet it was the North Shore...right? Or a town with "Woods" or a "Neck" or a "Harbor"...right? Yeah...thank God for the new cars coming out that park themselves.... But I fear this will lead to even more people having even less skill behind the wheel. "Yes Mr.DMV-Driving-Testor, of course I can parallel park...the dealer threw that option in for free..." or "Oh $hit!!!! Whaddya mean this doesn't have self-park?.... I haven't parked a car myself in 20 years..."
