Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Is there a faster rate wiper relay for the high speed setting? I got into a frog strangler and didn't like the the rate I got. Might just be time to change the motor or relay.
I know what you mean. The 996 wipers really leave something to be desired. My 993 was the pinnacle of Porsche wipers- three speeds and an infinitely adjustable intermittent. I would love to be able to have one faster speed on the 996. I wonder if there is a way to retrofit the older control?
Frog Strangler is a common term in the South. I'm impressed someone in HI would know that one. Not surprised the Yankees have never heard it. There's a lot they don't know.
I've used it for years, and yes it makes a big difference in a "Frog Strangler".
I've been pretty impressed with high speed on my 996. It's faster than what I had on the 335 and about the same as Mrs. SSST's MB.
Ribs still hurting but clavice with added screws and parts seems to be healing faster than ribs. Would of been nice if I hadn't of broken pretty much all but one rib on the left side.
Just call it a homeless drowner then
It refers to raining so hard that frogs drown.
When the sun is out rain-x is a curse with the streaks the wipers leave. Yah sure if I feel like doing every day applications.....no I don't.
I only have a couple left and feel like a drug addict thinking of going to the doctor to ask for more. It just hurts too much and its kind of hard to impress on a doctor the pain with out crushing his left side which I can't do since throwing a 400 lb bike on top of him laying on the ground would be pretty hard even in top shape for anyone except some of the polynesian friends.
It was past cats and dogs. The windscreen was getting blanked out around. Maybe it's a built in slow it down feature.
Next time when the suns out check for glare driving towards the sun. The glare convinced me rain-x had to be left out a long time ago.
I'm going to try checking with the dealer here since he is always very knowing on things.
I guess some of the northern boys learned a new one. Glad to of edumacated some of you.
Rain X is a mixed bag. When I lived in Northern Germany and Seattle it made sense with the constant rain. It was great for running in light to moderate rain on the autobahn without the wipers lifting at over 80-90 mph. Here in the south, with much more sun and (usually) lower driving speeds, it is too streaky unless I constantly reapply.
And leave them damned frogs alone! You could go blind.
Remove the passenger side wiper? Install shorter wiper blade assemblies but still functional enough..?
Other then splicing in a 16-20 volt battery pack.....
Does anyone know what the technical differences are between the design of the 996 and 993 wiper systems? It seems that if it is simply a relay and stalk, it should be very easy to update. I was out in a "frog strangler" a couple of weeks ago and was cursing my slow 996 wipers.
