Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Need help sourcing a headlight part for 2004 w/Bi-Xenons. Hard to explain but here goes and I will try and post a picture up later. Basically I have one of my headlights flickering and seems to be that the problem is the plastic "guide bar" that you use to guide the headlights back into thier channel has developed a crack. This crack is causing the light assembly to flex just enough to cause the connector to lose contact and therefor the intermediate flicker when I hit a bump or flex the light assembly manually. So, I pulled the headlight and tried to repair with epoxy which worked for a while but looks like gotten worse. The part does look to be user serviceable as there are a few screws that attatch it to the headlight assembly and it does not appear to be molded as part of the headlight assembly and therefore should be easy to repair. However, the problem is I cannot find the part number so I can order new ones and of course local dealer is of NO HELP and cannot seem to find a part description online. I found obscure reference to this part G99663111600 on AutoAtlanta but I cannot really tell if correct and does not indicate left or right can anyone confirm or help?

POST 3Original post

I know which part you are talking about. Is there a number stamped or molded on the part? You might try calling Pelican Parts and see if they can help.
