Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

All struts and shocks replaced two weeks ago along with new brakes.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Have been looking for quite a while for a decent 996, but have not been able to find the inventory out there. Am I looking in the wrong places or are they just that scarce right now?
Thanks
Don't forget the PCA Marketplace. You have to be a PCA member to access it. Lots of nice cars for sale on there. I just purchased my 01 996 from a member on here. Lots of them out there. Also, Cars.com and Autotrader.com is full of them. I would filter out any from dealers. Most of these that I checked on had no service history.
There are far more cars on the coasts, FL and Texas than in the Midwest. Try searchtempest.com to aggregate craigslist by distance from your zip code.
Best thing to do is narrow down your search parameters by budget, years, colors and any options you really want (litronic headlights for example).
Give us some of these and we can help... It's always fund spending other people's money.
Lots of good ones can be found here on RL. The best part is the owners are educated...
That said, I'll be putting my 2000 C4 Millennium Edition up for sale next week :-)
Tons of miles... 124,900 it turned today. Tranny replaced 26K ago, front diff 35K ago, engine has IMSR/ AOS/ Waterpump and my other updates done 6K ago.. Front bumper and hood being resprayed to get rid of rock chips as we speak, then its ready to sell. Just had the wheels refinished (no longer chrome!) last week with new Sumo tires. All struts and shocks replaced two weeks ago along with new brakes.
I was going to post a "whats it worth" post here and then advertise it for 2K more than that. I just don't need it and I am less in love with it than any other car that I own and the insurance is more. I'd rather drive my 356 daily, but I like raw Porsches more anyway, thats what I cut my teeth on.
The car has EVERY option known to man, the window sticker was 95K in 2000 and I still have it. The car even has navigation, which is rare for the model. I made some enhancements to it that make the car more appealing than most Millennium Editions, to include eliminating the cheap faux wood interior trim and replacing it with black. Its #528 of 911 made. Its clean and I hate to advertise cars to sale.
The Millennium has been my Wife's car, but she has bad vein issues in her left leg and the clutch does a number on her leg so she hasn't driven it much lately.. Time to find a tip for her.
Ebay is good in that the listings are fairly comprehensive and there are lots of pis and a lot of info about the car. Ues common sence and due dillegence, you'll do fine.
Thanks all! I have tried most of the sources that are listed, but to no avail. Maybe I need to adjust my budget and quit being so picky about a 8-10 year car.
Just thought there was a source out there that I was missing.
