Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Gotta put the winter tires on soon, and need to pick up some rims to mount them on (dealer threw in the tires as part of the deal). Currently running the stock 18x8 and 18x11 rims, but the winter tires I have are 265/35/18 and 225/40/18. Looking to pick up some 18x8 and 18x10 replicas for winter use - maybe these? If I go with these, will I need spacers, and if so, what size? Anything else I need to consider? Thanks.

POST 3Original post

I use Porsche recommended wheel size and offset for the winter tires and wheels on my C4S. They don't recommend spacers. However, the 18x10s do sit a little further inside the rear wheel wells than the 18x11s. I've considered spacers, but I don't think they are really necessary. It just depends on what you like.

POST 4Original post

I have my snows mounted on Victor Equipment 9.5x18 rims on the rears. My tire place put 14 mm H&R spacers on to offset the missing half inch. I don't really think I need them, but they seem fine so far.
