Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Took the car for a drive to wash the new oil around and I used my rock and roll music thumb drive.

I feel sorry for all of you folks that have limited use of your cars due to weather.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just put the hardtop and winter wheels and tires on. Let it snow, let it snow let it snow!!! These cars are great fun in the winter, what a waste to put yours away.
errrrr uhhhh yah its spring time right now. Come on down, the weathers fine
Had the german cars indi that owns a 911 race car do a service on my engine and a/c today. My car's a/c now pee's water all over the ground after he tested it finding it needed some oil and topped off the 20% it was down.
Took the car for a drive to wash the new oil around and I used my rock and roll music thumb drive. AC/DC and others with a few jumps to here and there I was cruising like you guys can't
First time I had listened to rock music for over a month. When I got back around to the house and shut the music and engine off and opened the door I heard a helicopter hovering around overhead on the ridge. I just sat there waiting for him to leave flashing on los angelas chase scene videos. Then what sounded like a uh60 coming through might of been why he left. Come to think of it I forgot all about the traffic cams.........
Anyway tires were nice and hot with the a/c blasting. It's spring time
PS maybe stay away from AC/DC as driving music if you are light hearted.
I am havnig mixed emotions... on the one hand I am ready for ski season, on the other I am ready to hit the track.... cant do both, and cant do either yet
I feel sorry for all of you folks that have limited use of your cars due to weather. I do, however, respect those who care enough about their cars to keep them away from the harsher elements - albeit at the expense of not getting to enjoy what they've worked so hard for. Mostly self serving however as I tend to purchase exclusively pre-owned and having so many well cared for pcars on the market at any given time makes them that much more affordable. Here's to all of those who sacrifice
Completely agree....my new snows went on last weekend........we all know why r1de23 has the car away....he still hasn't fixed the gas tank pressure issue...
Pete, I forgot to tell you.... I actually went to the gas station to fill her up before I mothballed her for the winter. I am not going to lie, I was pretty nervous. After I filled the car up, it started right up!!! Gremlins I guess..
My new 2-stage Ariens snow blower arrived today - just in time. We're expecting big snow next week. So far, it has been minimal. I'm still driving the 911 every day.
+1 Put the snows on the 996 turbo last week. Let er rip. Drove my C4S for 2 winters. Best vehicle I ever drove in the winter including all the SUV's my wife's Dodge Ram etc.
I'll put the snows on this weekend. Hell, I might even start parking it outside, just 'cause I'm not one of these pretty boys that's afraid of breaking the damn thing. Bring it on, Mother Nature--my C4 is my weapon of choice when it comes to the white stuff.
Porsche charges $16,900 for the Carrera Power Kit (option X51) which adds 23 HP (for the current 997.2 S models) and is comprised of:
modified cylinder heads,
carbon-fiber air filter casing (upper part),
new variable double resonance intake manifold,
sports exhaust system featuring specially designed twin dual-tube tailpipes,
modified engine management.
Do you guys really believe that Porsche would chose to go to all of that ^ trouble if they could get the same HP from a simple plenum change?
I believe everyone, those that store and those that drive, can agree with Tim's assessment of winter driving. Let's just close the thread since nothing more of value can be added.
OOPS! Sorry guys, I thought I was in the Plenum Thread. That's what happens when you have two windows open and both are in Rennlist. I am so embarrassed!
I'm in Dubuque--right where Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin all meet. To make winters even more fun, we've got lots of hills and bluffs around here rather than just corn fields.
Anyway, don't need a Jeep--my C4 on winter tires gets around way better than the Infiniti crossover my SO drives.
