Good thing i was just cruising at 20 or so MPH when I heard an all too familiar sound of air rushing out. Pulled over into the next driveway and called AAA flatbed (I didn't want to go through the hassle of changing out to the donut and then again having to change the tire a second time). Rear passenger got cut on something. Got home, and slapped on the race tires for the time being. When I took the front off, noticed some slightest of grease on the inner wheel lip. uh oh.... What is the inner boot run for replacment/labor? LA CA labor rates apply...

Man that stinks to see a perfectly good tire done in by a road hazard. Sorry to see that. Give me a call if you need a new one a can't find a used one.

damon, can one shave the sumitomo street tire? Not that these are expensive, but I have enough mileage on them so that only one may be 'weird'. I actually do not know if it would make a difference but figured just ordering one, but shaved may even out the 'wear'. Of course, the alternative is to order two tires and then save the one to my emergency tire reserve collection that I have going
