Suggestion
I think the LMs have a very classy look on a 996, I know I used to have a set too.

Use the GT3 (MkI) wheels for the street and LM for the track.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi All
I have just picked up these almost new BBS LM's Silver with Bridgestone S03 Be honest I am asking what you think, should i keep them or put my GT3 wheels back on??? Please leave a word or 2
Thanks
Paul
if YOU are just not hotting up to them, i.e. they are not blingy enough for you, then no don't keep them. if you are just luke warm then you will always be second guessing yourself.
personally i would keep them.
Eric - You are doing your P-car (and yourself) an injustice by keeping that avatar pic. As I recall from the recent post of pics of your car, it looks WAY better than this avatar pic! JMO!
I think the LM's are nice. It would be better IMHO if the lips were crome and bigger but that's a classic look. Have you seen the BBS with the mag center? Now those are cool. I pretty much say this about everything, but get the ones you want. If you like something else better get it, no sense in having expensive rims that you don't like that much.
hmm.for some reason those KM's just arn't doin it for me this time round.
i say put the GT3 ones back on. (unless u wanna get the LM's powdercoated black or dark grey)
First off both wheels are made by BBS. I think the LMs have a very classy look on a 996, I know I used to have a set too. The BBS REs are starting to grow on me too. IMO BBS makes the very best wheels, no other manufacturer can even come close to their record in motorsports.
Paul, I would put Mich Cups or Hoosiers on the GT3/Sport for track use and keep the BBS for the streets/show and tell.
The GT3 Wheels, and all porsche wheels are designed where the spokes are on the out board of the wheels(no lips) to sustain that tremendous stress when taking those long sweepers in high Gs. Lipped wheels don't last as long.
