Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Last year I changed my MAF because of a pcode. So last month my water pumped failed so I did my water pump, belt, coil packs and spark plugs. Now my AOS needs doing. I have p0507, p1128, p1130. So my question is while my mechanic is changing out the AOS what else should I have him do? Any recommendations?

POST 2Original post

If the tech is going to remove the left intake manifold, it's a good time to replace all the vacuum hoses and elbows, 2 change-over valves and the vacuum reservoir. The parts are about $150 if you get them from Sunset Porsche.

POST 3Original post

What ahsai said. I will probably do that this coming winter.

POST 4Original post

What Ahsai said and also, depending on mileage/age, while all that stuff is off the left side might consider a new coolant tank. I know it adds up but it will have to be done eventually anyway.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I appreciate all the input and suggestions. I figure if he's there already might as well have the tech do other stuff. Keep the suggestions coming! Thanks

POST 6Original post

My p1128 and p1130 were caused by clogged fuel return line. (See my other post) I changed the AOS for nothing and glad I did not change anything besides that. Check your fuel pressure!
