Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anybody ever replace the lumbar motor? If so, instructions would be helpful. I am pretty sure it’s behind the right side seat frame. The pump runs, but doesn’t produce any air. Thanks !

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OK, I figured it out so maybe this will help someone in the future. 1. Remove center back seat cushion, 2. unhook left lower seat springs that attach to the seat back yellow grill. 3. unclip the 3 lower left bottom bolster clips that hold the seat cover on. this will allow enough room to push the bolster to the side and remove the pump. The Pump is located in the lower corner of the seat frame. 4. Remove the clear supply hose from the pump. 5. Carefully tilt pump lift up and remove it from the soundproofing enclosure. 6. Disconnect the electrical harness from the pump.

POST 3Original post

Did replacing the motor fix your lumbar. Both my seats pump operates when pressing the switch and I hear the relays clicking but bags wont inflate. Im hoping its just bad lumbar motor
