I've used the Bentley manual, if you're going to be doing your own servicing, it's worth the buy IMO.

Hi I just purchased a 2004 996 C4S Cabriolet and I'm looking for recommendations for user friendly workshop manuals for this model. I previously owned a 1997 993 Cabriolet and I enjoy doing much of the maintenance and repairs myself. Thanks in advance. Miker1001

Ditto on the BentleyPublishers.com I appreciate that it has torque specs where needed. You will also find some really good DIY videos at FCPEuro.com Welcome to the car with the most well documented issues of any car ever made. Anything that needs repair on this has been referenced endlessly online. That is how I came to buy a 2002 Cab sight unseen. I figured I already knew what could go wrong, and I have yet to be surprised. Hopefully that last line doesn't jinx it.
