Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I checked the old posts but didn't find a discussion about pro arguments and counter ones regarding the weighted shift ****. I would appreciate some feedbacks. Also, I read that the metal shift ***** become a problem in summer due to the heat. How bad is this issue? Thank you !

POST 2Original post

They do help provide a more weighted feel to the shifts but feel is what it is. Some like it and some don't. Looks like you're in LA so the heat could cause issues with the shift **** getting very hot. I look at it that way - it will further increase your shifting speed because you won't want to hold it for very long

POST 3Original post

I have this one and it's awesome: https://blackforestindustries.com/co...orsche-fitment Highly recommend it!

POST 4Original post

I put a momo sk50 on when I installed my Schnell short shift kit and it would be hard for me to separate the effect of the two(heavier **** and shorter shifter). I like the feel of the combination. I will say the temperature thing in cold is true; Ill let you know about heat in 2-3 months. https://momo.com/en-gb/product/stree...reet-eu/sk-50/

POST 5Original post

They dont get THAT hot, unless you have a vert and leave it in the sun with the top down. You can always drape a microfiber over it if youre concerned. I always switch to one in all my cars, and I havent burned my hands yet!

I'm lusting a bit over their alcantara version. I currently have the function first weighted **** and have always preferred weighted ***** over the hollow ones. I have 3M crystalline on all the glass and use a sun shade so the interior doesn't get too hot.

I bought the alacantra one to match my steering wheel, just realized I linked the wrong ****. My bad. But highly recommend it, it's very well made and certainly helps in a smooth shifting experience!

POST 8Original post

Had one on my Subaru Crosstrek to compliment the short shifter. Summer time you could fry an egg on it.
