Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When it reaches the top or the bottom, my passenger window sometimes makes a clack like something is loose. I have the door panel off but I can't readily tell whats going on.

POST 3Original post

Regulator. Buy a OE Porsche regulator and replace it. Remember to mark the regulator bottom bolt locations and the window glass in the clamps. Makes it so much easier.

POST 4Original post

I never put my windows down all the way. Just last week took my daughter for a drive and she put the window down and it came up with a big/deep scratch from mid point down. Would this also be a failed regulator?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

For closure I installed a URO regulator. It wasn't about the money....the Porsche failed in some way. I thought the Taiwan stuff was probably better and liked the bearings in the pulleys. It did fix the problem
