Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
If you check my thread it has details on what I needed to do to fit 305/35 NT01.

From my experience, a 285/35 works without fender modification running a 17MM spacer lowered on hlins.

I'm also lowered on Ohlins and now running 285/35 on the rear with 15mm spacers.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a set of 18x8 (45mm) and 18x11 (55mm) wheels that were shod with the incorrect tire size. I have removed the tires and mounted those on a set of MY02 wheels that the car came with. I want to put the most appropriate (read that as, the biggest possible) tire on these wheels that would still fit on a 2003 Carrera 2 Cab with no fender adjustments required on OE shocks and springs (ergo original ride height).
this has perplexed me because Id tend towards a 245-40 or 235-40 front on a BMW on a rim that wide. And the rear Id tend towards a 315-35 or 305... but Im not sure what actually fits.
I need your (the Renlist hive mind) help.
TIA
There are a multitude of tire and rim calculators on the net.
I have a set of 8-1/2 and 12 inch x 18 inch wheels and I'm going with 245/40 and 305/35 Nitto NT01 tires.
I don't think there is any way a 305/35 will work without rolling and making clearance in the fender well, can't really speak to the 315/30.
Wanting to go wide in the back without messing with the fenders don't really jive.

Hmmm. Maybe I need to do some more research. I'm also lowered on Ohlins and now running 285/35 on the rear with 15mm spacers. Seems like there is still space for more tire but will check to make sure. Unfortunately, the 305 Nitto doesn't come in 305/30, but they do make a 315/30 which is wider but very close to the same diameter.
