Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Aloha gang! Anyone replace the main harness to the wheel speed sensor (front left)? I went to replace the sensor and the main harness connector just crumbled in my hands and the pins separated from the wire. I've ordered the harness but kind find any instructions. Thanks!

POST 2Original post

Just finished 4 corners a month ago. the fronts are simple. disconnect the battery. remove wheel and wheel liner. follow the wiring of the old harness. cut the old harness and give yourself some extra length. install the new harness following the route of the old one. cut the new harness to length, giving yourself extra length for comfortably. slide large waterproof heat shrink over the new harness (don’t use the one in the kit). slide waterproof heat shrink to the individuals wires of the new harness. solder the wires color to color, and heat shrink it. slide the large heat shrink over the wires. loop the loom in the area behind the wheel liner. Install wheel liner and wheel. Now go drive your car. 😁 the heat shrink I’m using is the one that comes with glue inside. I’ll try to drop you a link. edit: here you go. Amazon Amazon
