my clock spring does make an awful contracting expanding and contracting sound when I turn so I�m expecting its going to need changing soon ..

I was out driving yesterday and realized that the horn on the new to me 2000 C4 doesn�t work. I replaced the fuse and then my horn started working again �.. but wouldn�t stop. any tips, thoughts, suggestions?

If you are going in there to replace the clock spring, might as well replace the horn frame as well. They (the horn frame rubber bushings) definitely wear out with age. Order both parts at the same time.

Clock spring for sure. The horn wire is frail and will break down eventually. I found one on ebay from a wrecked 986 and replaced it. No big deal. I documented some of the process here: You Tube
