But, first I do want to make sure it's nothing as simple as a disconnected plug.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Removed my passenger seat and now have a passenger seat airbag error code. Reset it and it's still coming back. The small connector in this picture was disconnected (as I remember) when I removed the seat. It's not connected now. Any idea where this small connector goes? POST 2Original post

Not sure on the connector but if u dont leave the seat belt buckle connected or add a resitor to the circuit u will always get an air bag light. Maybe its the buckle connector?

the light wasn't on before I pulled the seat so I'm assuming it's something I did. I pulled both seats and codes for the passenger and driver side were present. After clearing with my Durametric, the driver's side code is gone but the passenger side code comes back up immediately. i don't mind buying a new buckle/hRness if that's the problem. But, first I do want to make sure it's nothing as simple as a disconnected plug.

POST 4Original post

There is a small connector in the wire bundle on the floor. Mine is partially wrapped in black tape. Like this:

Thank you...will check that out

POST 6Original post

Child seat connector You sure that green plug is oriented correctly?

That's not my picture. I found it to show the small plug that is unplugged in my car. my car is a '99 and doesn't have the green connector

POST 8Original post

Yea small plug is child seat connector. It's not used unless you purchase the child seat deact. system. The green plug or black or whatever plug you have has to be oriented correctly or it'll trigger airbag light
