Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So I have the P0348 cam shaft sensor code coming up on my car, I have cleared it but it's reoccurring. This code if I am correct is for the bank 2 side which is the RHS or passenger side. I have read a few posts and there seems some confusing posts as to it the cam sensors location, some say it is at the back of the RH cylinder block, some say it is on the front. Some say it changed location from the 3.4 to the 3.6. Did the 3.6 have it at the rear?, Bentley show rear but I thought the engine they stripped for the pics was a 3.4 Anybody replaced this sensor?

POST 2Original post

I've had both sensors on my 03 replaced. $300 including sensor while in for other service. The front right on the engine is not bad. The rear left is a PIA for access. I kept clearing mine for a week or 2 while waiting for other parts to ship, and my Indy warned of cascading issues if I let it wait too long. I found them on Amazon.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So your saying its on the front right then

POST 4Original post

My Indy changed the right front. The code came back so he changed the rear.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

yes it is on the right front (tranny side), after following the bentley which says it is right rear (bumper side), i stripped everything off and it wasnt there!!, broke the oil filler tube in the process F*ckety F*ck F*ck
