Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suspected cause
I'm in love with this car, and honestly the only thing keeping me from it is probably an ignorant notion that the miles are high.

Hey Pete, maybe you should consider temporarily (until your car sells) changing your Rennlist name to "Honest Pete"!

Suggestion
It is always painful when you first run your ad and get few replies.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

You put in alot of work and time into that car. Im sure the right buyer will come around soon at your asking price. GLWS.
Are you going to get into another 911 in the near future?
Thanks Steve and 996pp......the car gets detailed this weekend. I'll post some new pics soon after. I bought a Seal Gray 997S that is in a waiting line to get a Flat6 Raby big bore 4.0 motor with the IMS solution. SCHWING!
I'm in love with this car, and honestly the only thing keeping me from it is probably an ignorant notion that the miles are high. I see the rebuilt motor only has 10k and the clutch has 40k, approximately how many miles would the clutch need to be replaced again?
Can you post pics of the small dings in each door? And the dash above the speedo?
Thank you sir
-Carter
Guys I will get better pics after the car is professionally detailed. I'm dropping it off this morning. The first clutch was replaced at 90k miles.
And yes that was me at the Mr. B's cigar shop last weekend in Indy....great place. Sorry I didn't have the chance to talk to you rrocket.
Between the sale of KK, sanders, Pete's, Gonzo's, some people are gonna luck out and be getting some very nice and well cared for cars IMO.
GLWS gents.
Ha......maybe that's my problem....I'm too honest. But when someone wants to pony up some good money for a 15 year old car I'd rather be completely upfront. The car drives with no issues and turns on dime. Ebay is not far off sad to say...would really like this to go to a Lister!
For a Sunday bump.....lowered the asking price to $23K. I also have the stock suspension (struts and sways), ROW M030 sways, stock muffler cans and a very good set of winter Pirelli Snosports mounted on 18" pcar wheels as seen on my avatar. Willing to do a package deal for all. Also selling a set of track tires TOYO R888's ($800 + ship) with literally 15 minutes of use and PFC 01/06 pads ($500 + ship) with the same amount of usage.
SOLD! The new owner flew down from Canada and is driving it home. We were on the hwy and I was driving, I asked him if he minded me dumping it in 3rd just one last time......he didn't and off we went like a bat out of hell giggling like two youngsters who just got a hold of their first Playboy. Hopefully he will introduce himself to you all.
