Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I replaced mine with 168 wedge replaced with PIAA Xtreme White Plus (4300K) which look much whiter.

I used LEDs in that application for years with no issues.

Hi Everyone, has anyone replaced their standard front parking light bulb with an LED version?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

LED's cannot withstand the heat inside the front headlamp housings. I replaced mine with 168 wedge replaced with PIAA Xtreme White Plus (4300K) which look much whiter. Take a look at the photo below, which shows just the parking lamps on. The standard parking lamp looks quite yellow compared to the PIAA bulb.
You're right they do look yellow. I did find these and actually ordered a pair for 13.50 shipped to at least see if they'll last longer and look as good as the 64132's that are standard (I guess). Thanks so much for the reply and illustrative pic!
Thanks C four S. My new bulbs have shipped. I'll take before and after pics. I opted for the "Cool White" look. I'll bet your orange LEDs look great...
I bought these yesterday:

***update the above will NOT fit in sockets. The little detents on these are spaced 180 degrees apart the factory ones are about 150 ****
I now just bought the below they should have the right 150 degree base. See the illustration in the ebay listing. Now to wait a few more days.

Installed these today:

No bulb out lights or anything silly. I am very happy with the results for $6.99 shipped (were on sale when I bought them). They are white but a little on the blue side of white. Pictures look representative of how they look to the eye.
With PIAA yellow fogs:
They look good r6. Frankly when I installed mine I was not happy with the single white dot because it didn't contrast well with my stock headlights. Took them right out. Yours appear to have a broader spectrum and look far better than mine did! R.
