Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have found some front calipers of a 996 turbo (4 cylinder) is it a direct bolt on to my 1998 carrera front hub carriers? they seem quite bulkier compared to Carrera stock 4 cylinders calipers for the 6pots I need the Gt3 hub carriers? thank you

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

yes 322mm on c2 (front) and 350mm on turbo. If I have found the correct information

POST 4Original post

996 Turbo uses 4 pot calipers with 330mm rotors (front & rear) and 6 pot calipers use 350mm rotors. 996 C2 calipers have mounting spread of 130mm vs 142mm on 996 Turbo. 996 Turbo calipers are not direct bolt on solution for 996 C2. 996 C2 front rotor is 318mm which can be oversized to 330mm and retain the use of stock caliper.
