Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone know what the front spoiler on the 2002 996 Carrera looks like. I ordered the factory aerokit on mine and the correct rear spoiler plus flared rockers were shipped from the factory with the car and installed at the dealer. The front spoiler is back ordered and i'm told consists not of a "chin" type spoiler but a differently shaped nose, which the dealer will install. I've been searching Porsche websites and cannot find a pic of a Carrera aerokit nose. I'm guessing that it's something in between stock and turbo. Has anyone seen this animal? I've checked most countries on the Porsche website. No pics, no info, no timetable.....Any suggestions? Don Watson (the Carrera aerokit front end on the Porsche website is for 01)

POST 2Original post

I was fliping through some mags at the store and saw a pic of the '02 carrera cup cars. Which is where the aero kit originated from. I think it was automobile mag. If not just search through the major ones like Road&track or Motortrend. Its on page 6 or 7 and is mentioned on the cover in small text. My memory is fuzzy because its been 2 weeks since I saw it, but I now for sure its featured in one of those mags. Hope this helps....
