My 99 996 First off, I�m new to the 996 family. I purchased a 99 Cab a few weeks ago. Very clean higher mileage 6 speed car (90k). I am really enjoying it so far. While changing the oil I noticed the accelerator cable is a little frayed and loose. From the OBD the TPS maxes at 70% with the pedal all the way down. I am guessing that is not right. I also note with it depressed all the way I can manually open the throttle about another 1/2�. I have a few questions, am I correct, I am not getting max throttle in my current situation? How hard is it to replace the cable and adjust? What gotchas should I be aware of? Thanks in advance, Chris The frayed accelerator cable TPS reading
