Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
Even if I had a 2025 whatever car, I can't find any use cases for a mobile app that would be of any use for my auto needs.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Like you i registered my 996, and no its not worth it... it has nothing added from the Porsche side... its only the information you put in, i did it thinking it might have some extra info on the car from its build but it has nothing.
I have a 2003 996 C4S and I have the app. Once you add your car to the app's "garage", you can see the specifications and options for your car. Same stuff that you'd get from a VIN decoder (parking sensors, footwell lighting, BOSE, etc...) and a wikipedia page on the car (HP, torque, weight, dimensions, etc...). Other than that, it's just the same stuff that's on the website (news, current events, IG feed, etc...)
Auto manufacturers make the worst mobile apps and I think they make them just because it makes them feel like they are keeping up with the trends. I think if they didn't have an app, some journalists would give them **** about it. But, it's not much there.

Even if I had a 2025 whatever car, I can't find any use cases for a mobile app that would be of any use for my auto needs. I mean, ****, if they put a OBD2 code reader and allow me to code/program our Porsches from the app, that would be awesome!...but you know that **** ain't happening. As of now, it's just a brochure.
The BMW ap i have allows me to start my vehicle to cool it down... "its hot out here"
I went to my Porsche AP hoping for the same, the Porsche App for my newer 911 just says not subscribed... oh ok , ill pay you a life subscription as well as all that expense of buying the 911, i fricken hate subscriptions and try to avoid them at all costs.
To add on to my point above about how auto manufactures are really bad at apps (and software in general) is that they have no concept of supporting them after they launch or backwards compatibility.
How many of you have cars with navigation where the maps are not up to date and there are no updates for them. Didn't they expect their cars to be on the road 8-10 years after being produced? How many SOS cell phone systems no longer work? Did they not think that people would have emergencies 10 years later? Sure, they can't predict what cell phone tech would exist, but they can build a modular system that would accept a modern adapted module at a later date.
I have 3 old school iPods. The ones with the click wheels from like 2006. I can plug them up right now to my brand new MacBook Pro and load them up with music and videos that were made this year and everything works as expected. That's how you do it. Apple could easily say, "Dang. We don't support 20 year old iPods anymore. Sorry." But, they didn't.
