This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 2005 911 (996.2) C4S that I recently purchased from Porsche and they installed the PCCM+ prior to shipping (purchased out of state). It is functioning well, but when I attempt CarPlay, I experience connectivity issues. I have the lightening cable attached to the correct HDMI input and then to my phone....but what's really odd is that CarPlay ONLY seems to workl if I have my phone connected to the Rennline Phone Mount MagSafe charger, which is connected to the other HDMI port of the PCCM+. If I take my phone off the MagSafe charger, it stops the CarPlay, even though my phone is still connected via the correct cable. Sometimes it happens immediately, sometimes it takes 5 seconds or so, but CarPlay always stops. It's very odd and wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Thank you in advance for any help with this and apologies if this should have been posted elsewhere.
