Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, When I slip the clutch to engage first gear, everything is fine, but as I depress the clutch again the gear lever gets stuck and it wont disengage from first gear. I cant physically pull the lever out. I have to shut off the car, and now everything is normal again. The clutch, flywheel, master cylinder, slave cylinder are all brand new. The hydraulic pressure is within spec at 60bar. Any ideas?

POST 2Original post

Double check all your shifter cable ends to make sure there is no bind or slipped retainers. To be clear this issue started immediately after the clutch replacement? If so either u did something wrong or have the a wrong part installed. Does it shift through the gears with the engine off?

POST 3Original post

Are the wheels on the ground or is the car on jackstands with the wheels hanging?
