Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

anyone experience this and have some neat trick to get it off? trying heat and wd40, no luck so far turning the right front wheel spins the differential without even being bolted in. its stuck pretty damn good. other side popped off like the flange had bad B.O.

POST 2Original post

Haven’t been under my car in a while,is there enough room to give it a whack with a dead blow hammer?

POST 3Original post

Use an air chisel / hammer. Angle it a bit so it will push it out of the flange. With the right tool, it took 5 seconds to get mine off.

POST 4Original post

Air chisel, although access / angle will be tough. Had a similar struggle with a broken Cayenne prop shaft at Watkins Glen some years ago. After a day spent trying everything else, we went into town, bought an air chisel, popped right off. Reassemble with generous use of anti-seize.
