You *may* need to run a 285 in the rear instead of a 295, but you'll need to do a test fit to determine that.

As well, the C2 is running H&R springs so it's a bit lower than stock.

Many people run Turbo/C4S rear wheels on their stock bodied narrow body cars, so they should fit no problem on yours.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Okay, so here begins some of the weird questions for my newly aquired 1999 996.
This car is rebuilt, and was accidented and repaired in 2003. I'll assume the wider fender flares were installed at the time of said repair. I don't have any info besides that. Pic attached.
The wheels presently on the car are FK 1810s aparently. 18x8 front and 18x10 rear. I have the opportunity to pick up a set of real hollowspokes for a great price and I want to run them on my C2. The fronts are of course no problem. The rears on those are 18x11 with an offset of 45. If I'm not mistaken, the wheel will stick out about 3/4 of an inch more than my wheels now...which means they should fit as I have about an inch of space from mt tire to the wheel arch presently.
You guys think it'll work?
Many people run Turbo/C4S rear wheels on their stock bodied narrow body cars, so they should fit no problem on yours. You *may* need to run a 285 in the rear instead of a 295, but you'll need to do a test fit to determine that.
I've been perusing the forums all around and have had a lot of conflicting info, hence the post. I'm figuring it should indeed fit well with the ectra space I have out back. As well, the C2 is running H&R springs so it's a bit lower than stock.
I guess I'll buy them and report back in the spring
Okay, so I bought the 996 Turbo hollow spokes mentionned above. Pic is leaning them up against my car: I'm going to install the 265s on the 11 inch rims for the rear and see how it goes...I might very well have them refinished in silver as they should be. This will all happen April 1st 2022 when the 996 and other toys come out of hibernation.
I'll revive the thread next spring once again!
Turbo/widebody rear wheels will not fit on normal narrow body cars. There is a 20mm ( a little over 3/4") difference in the offset. This is too much to correct for.
If they fit on your small custom wide body kit, it will be a one-off fitment. Good luck !!
This below. There are however two versions of narrow fitment Turbo Hollow Spokes that will fit your car.

Yeah, I've been going over all the threads I can find. As can be seen in the pic of my car above, the flares in the rear should easily swallow the extra width and offset of the hollowspokes.
I'm literally counting down the days to driving my 996 again let me tell ya...
