Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

A regular old Harbor Freight engine stand worked fine for me - just make sure that if youre using a lift table to drop the engine, you get the stand with the U base as opposed to the T or I base...

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

A regular old Harbor Freight engine stand worked fine for me - just make sure that if youre using a lift table to drop the engine, you get the stand with the U base as opposed to the T or I base... (with the u base you can bolt the engine to the stand while its on the table. With the t base, uh, no...).

POST 9Original post

Does anyone have this adapter - would be nice to hear comments -> https://www.fvd.net/us-en/FVD721T319...s-are-3-8.html Edit: Not sure if this would work with 996 - description says that it fits all Porsche engines ever build but the fitment page doesn't mention 996 or M9x engines in general.

POST 10Original post

I bought my yoke from VW Alley. I did a quick search and couldn't find their website but if you can find them, it was around $250 and is very well made.
