Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

There's a bit of cracking on the paint on the skirts now so changing over could be win win.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi
I have owned my 2002 996 since 2010, I am the second owner, and I was hoping this forum could help me identify my body kit. I am considering selling the car and I want to make sure I represent it properly.
I believe the previous owner passed away and I purchased the car in Fresno CA from his estate. I have owned the car for 12 years, but I have never really looked into the body kit. I believe it is an Aero Kit 2. Does this look correct? The car does not have a rear wiper.
Also I'd be interested to know from the experts here as well the type of BBS rims on the car.
Thanks very much for the help.
That looks like a 996.2 aero kit rear deck and front bumper with a cup spoiler added underneath. The side skirts (to me) do not look to be either from 996.1 or 996.2 aero kits.

Thanks everyone. I looked back 12 years to my purchase documentation, and read that the car was supposed to include New-In-Box, original Porsche Sideskirts with the car. However I didn't end up having the broker ship these to me and I imagine they are lost at this point. That explains the bumper discrepancy.
I was wondering are the Techart skirts well regarded? Would it be preferable to go to the "proper" 996.2 Aero sideskirts? There's a bit of cracking on the paint on the skirts now so changing over could be win win.
@Fracture
Could you recommend some spacers? I'd prefer to keep a stock look but if there's room for improvement I'd be up for doing it! - thank you in advance.
I think the car will go up for sale in the spring. My garage is just too full and I'm needing to downsize.
On my 996 Gen 2, I currently run H&R TRAK+ 15mm front and back. Fit and look great. I have been toying with 18mm.
Add Edit: running OEM Carrera 2 wheels. 8x18 and 10x18
see @GC996's post regarding running 15mm x 15mm
H & R has offerings in all the desirable sizes - you need to determine what wheels will be used
ECS rents a kit to determine what is optimal - but as you are selling the car it's likely you won't want to go thru this

you can stand a level next to and touching the fender and measure to the farthest profusion of the tire wall
- convert to mm's and you'll be very close
be certain to get
hub centric
spacers
you may also contact BBS for a recommendation - but you're going to get your best answers right

MKII's generally don't need to have the rear fenders rolled ( iirc, they did it at the factory )
add an alignment after the spacers,
enjoy !!
