Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have scoured the internet with no success in finding much in the way of pictures or information on what I am looking for, likely because both Arena Red and Space grey are pretty rare. My car is a 3/98 in Arena Red with a Space grey interior with Graphite Grey Carpet. Also, being an early build it has the "granite" interior, so all of the space grey trim isn't solid space grey but is "speckled," which I feel like would be impossible to match. Anyway, the issue is my sport seat backs are damaged/scraped up and they are the same speckled space grey color, so my questions are as follows: Has anyone found a way to repair the seatbacks to the factory color? Or anything that looks close? Has anyone color matched there seatbacks/center console in a space grey car? Specifically if you also have Arena red and/or graphite grey carpets that would be awesome. I am worried that especially with the carpets already giving a two-tone look to the interior that adding a third prominent color will be too much. Here are some pictures of what I am working with:

POST 2Original post

I realize this is an older thread, but maybe painting the backs in the exterior color would work. I havent found a paint match for the speckled gray (granite)paint on the trim of the early cars.

I am partial to Arena Red as well...
