Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi,
I've been lurking here for about 5 months as I read your helpful posts and threads to somewhat edumacate myself about all things 996. After a few false starts, I found this Orient Red '02 C2 - on Craigslist, no less - about 25 minutes away from me!
It's got 61,800 miles, replaced IMS, clutch, AOS and some other items. Tires are nice and new as well. Supple leather seats, Bose system, PSM, and aluminum finished 6 speed gearshift **** and e-brake.
I do have a few questions, which I'll post as separate threads.

Awesome color and has the best OE wheels short of GT3. Love the aero sides too.
Would look pretty perfect lowered if I were to give a suggestion.
You did well.
I would not drive that anywhere until you fix those Porsche crests on the wheels!
The bottom of the crest should point to the valve stem. Don't want people to talk behind your back (or rear bumper).
Awesome car and color. Looks like you scored a smokin' deal. Now join the Porsche Club (after the crests are fixed) and have a ball.
Most likely^^^ Interested in seeing if it came from the factory that way (or possibly dealer installed). If it came from factory it should be on the build sticker on frunk lid Great looking car Good luck with we!
@dporto
here's the build sticker - looks like the aeroskirts are not factory, perhaps dealer installed?
Also looks like the wheel caps were intended to be "color"?
Ah, the mysteries of a 21 year old vehicle....
