For context, I finally replaced the broken radio my Targa came with. But upon playing music, the driver side door speaker audio was really crackly and sounded horrible with even an average bass level. I asked my audio guy what my options were, and he suggested that if I didn�t want to get an aftermarket set to replace all the speakers, I could just figure out the part number of that particular speaker and buy it separately so they could install it. My 02 Targa came with the Bose system, but I�m not sure where to begin. What�s the best way to start looking for a replacement for the front driver door speaker?

If you have the Factory HiFi option (M490), the door speaker is 99664550100, which is a 2 ohm speaker. If you changed your radio and/or amp you may need a different speaker.

He didn't specify, but if he changed his system, a 2 Ohm speaker might not be compatible and maybe why it doesn't sound good.
