So, no affiliation here or anything, I just ran across this on a deal site that I frequent and thought that other Rennlisters might be interested.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So, no affiliation here or anything, I just ran across this on a deal site that I frequent and thought that other Rennlisters might be interested. As often as borescopes come up in discussions on here, I thought a very inexpensive USB version might interest some of you. I just ordered mine. It looks like it's coming on a slow boat from China.

I have a similar one I got on Amazon a year or so ago for $25.
It's handy and I'm glad I have it, but it it's great if you need close up focusing (like sticking it through a spark plug hole and hoping to see bore scoring). Definitely good for worming into areas that you can't get a good view of though.
I'd definitely recommend it, but just keep in mind it's not the greatest camera
Looks cool, but I have a strict rule of never paying more than $4 for borescopes
And this one is like 75 cents more - not all of us were born with a platinum spoon in our mouth Mr. Rockefeller.
I just ordered one. It's amazing what you can buy for almost no money these days. I will report back on how it works after I try it out.
I used one on my rebuild. Get the color version that has both focus and brightness control
