Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Set position 2' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Set position 2' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi,
I have the memory seat option, but withouth the "key"
What is the correct procedure to program a position?
It used it be easy but since last time battery was disconected I can't seem to program it.
Should the engine be running? Door closed / windows up?
Ignition should be in accessory position. Adjust to desired position. Press and hold the M button then press and hold the desired memory button for about 2 seconds. That's what used to work for me when I had mine.
I played with it yesterday , to no avail, at some point it did register a position while I was hitting the "M" button like a madman. But most of the time, it would just slide to either position without setting a new one.
I have some weired behaviour with my right mirror, hiting Right would make it go down, left -up, etc. So I suspect this to be related to seat memory problem.
I need a Durametric.....
Switch is fine I suppose , left mirror works normally.
I played with the plug yesterday, it's been tempered with in the past, so I decided to wait to get a Durametric to futher investigate - I have other issues to solve first on this car.
