Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that report identifying a cause

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Reported cause
Unfortunately when I received it, it turned out to be a pretty cheap copy.

I’ll do that when I change my oil in 7,500 more miles!
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Bare with me please if already mentioned, but anyone know of source of the larger engine lid stick as seen in this photo Ive stolen from Texsquirrel? Mine had no sticker (2002 C4S) and the one I purchased from Suncoast is only about 70 x 70 mm. His appears larger, below right.
Your eyes are better than mine. I can't even be sure there's a Mobil 1 sticker in that tiny pic.
This is the sticker on my '99 C2 decklid. It measures 70mm x 80mm which I assume jibes with Mike Murphy's & TexSquirrl's inch measurements because it appears to be identical.
When I got the Carrera wing with decklid, I wanted to make it an easy plug N play to switch back and forth from the stock version. I bought all new engine lid stickers mostly for SMOG tests but also for originality's sake. I ordered 993.006.544.00 and received the previously mentioned superseded 7PP.010.786.T
I really wanted to keep it period correct and was happy to find this repo version. Unfortunately when I received it, it turned out to be a pretty cheap copy. The original version has an aluminized(?) finish that I assume is to resist heat. The copy was just silver metallic ink. I didn't think it would hold up for more than a few months so I just went with the 'new' version.

I see the problem. What I received is the replacement model number from Suncoast. Here it is after I stuck on engine lid. It only measures 50 x 50 mm.
I have recreated this in illustrator with the correct logo and fonts - thinking about having it printed after being fed up with the cheap replicas out there.
I was able to get my hands on 6 new ones over the years though. They aren't easy to find.
