Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Reported cause
The cable (and starter) issue is definitely slow winding vs not starting.
Leading evidence: 'definitely slow winding vs not starting' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'definitely slow winding vs not starting' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Check evap purge valve already and it seems fine' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I just recently picked up a durametric so checked fuel trim numbers to see if there are any issues and I am not sure how to read these.

Test your fuel pressure and especially fuel pressure after you turn it off and see how many PSI it drops and how long it takes to drop.....ie what is the pressure as soon as you turn off the motor, then 15min after the motor is turned off, then 30 min later, then 1 hour later...

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

New cable helped slightly but a new stadter solved it.
So my 2002 3.6 seems to be experiencing an issue with hot starting. Starts fine when cold but warm it up then leave it a few hours and it takes a good 10 seconds of cranking to start. Starter seems to be turning over fine the same as when cold. Checked the Evap purge valve already and it seems fine. I just recently picked up a durametric so checked fuel trim numbers to see if there are any issues and I am not sure how to read these. I know RKAT should ideally be 0. Are these numbers bad/out of spec? Trying not to just shoot the parts cannon at this but really tempted to order injectors but not looking forward to the install.
warm engine after 30 min drive, engine idling
cold engine next day
Fuel Trims are damn near perfect....

This is most likely the cable that runs from the alternator to the starter. I, and many others, have had this exact same issue. Here's how to replace it
Alt/Start Cablere placement
(see my posts #71-72 on some helpful tips to make this easier and not remove the AC compressor)
I plan on doing some fuel pressure testing on it tonight then. One other thing I did notice on my cold start this morning there was a fair cloud of smoke. It definitely smelled like fuel. Stopped after a few seconds which kind of makes me think of leaking injectors unless I am wrong on that
I had the hot start issue. New cable helped slightly but a new stadter solved it. However, OP 's issue sounds different. Mine was slow to crank when hot, but he's not having that problem.
Youre absolutely right, my bad for not reading it right. The cable (and starter) issue is definitely slow winding vs not starting. My apologies OP. Good luck finding the fix.
I was hoping to do some fuel pressure testing last night. I had purchased a test kit from amazon, but none of the adapters worked they all are too small. What adapter do I need for doing this? i took the cap off and there doesn't seem to be a schrader valve under the cap from what I could see. I did read about special tool 9559 for $150
