Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was washing my girl yesterday and noticed the thin rubber seal surrounding the light bar is partially detached. I pushed it back into place. I can buy a new light for about 100.00usd but before I do that, has anyone advice on simply repairing the original? Thanks!

Mine was slightly torn at one corner. Some black SuGru moldable glue worked to patch it up. POST 3Original post

Hi guys - I have the same issue. Surfing around and saw this. Maybe worth a shot. No affiliation, just looking for alternatives to a brand new light. https://rennfix.com/3rd-brake-light-gasket

POST 4Original post

I also had the gasket dry up and I thought the only answer was a new light. I bought one and wanted to let you know if you go that route, the light is better looking and reflective. It was so reflective that I took it to my tech and asked him why it was on all the time. It wasn't.
