Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I can work on multi-million dollar radar and aviation systems, but I can't seem to get my FOBs to lock. No matter what combination of starting on one corner or one side and and finishing on the other. They just won't lock completely. I took the seal off and had the same result. When I took the EC out, then it locked but obviously I can't leave it like that. Any tips or tricks? Thanks

POST 2Original post

Place the PCB on the cover side and make sure its properly seated with the two plastic tabs. place the rubber seal on the key side, and go to town.

POST 3Original post

Are you using all original bits? I had trouble snapping mine back together when I replaced the perished buttons with some eBay purchases. I can't remember if brute force or "bend to fit, file to suit" was the final solution but I did manage to finally snap them home.

You are correct sir. If you look at this video starting at the 40sec mark, he states the same thing. I noticed that if I insert the card in the "lid" section FIRST, it clicks deeper into that section. Then the whole assembly goes together properly. Thanks
