Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Generally, my 04/99 build C2 Manual Coupe is looking very healthy at 111k miles. MAF value is at 16.75kg/h. All #'s pulled with the car at normal operating oil temp. Just have a question about the Range 1 Fuel trim #'s. Looks like since they're negative, the computer is compensating for a slightly rich fuel mixture. Spec is 0 +/- .1, of which my bank 1 is slightly out of spec. Is this enough to look into the possibility of having a leaky fuel injector? Cam deviations look very good. Well within the 0 +/- 6 spec. I'm getting slight random ticking at idle when the car's warmed up. Nothing too crazy though. Its been bore scoped from the sump with clean findings. Nothing in the sump or oil pickup either. Not consistent sounding to be a lifter tick. I'm planning on attacking the 3 timing chain tensioners with hope to quiet it a bit. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
