Go for it. My '04 C2 cab is a daily as well. Has been 31,000km (19,000 miles) in the 7 months since I bought her in March this year. Just hit 87,000km (54,000 miles). She's been my amazing companion as far north as Fort St John, BC and as far south as Los Angeles, CA so far. Love it!

I'm daily driving my '02 C2 and loving it. Even in SoCal's 'awesome' stop-n-go traffic, I like it more than anything else I've driven. Life's too short to not find ways to enjoy your commute. My car does it for me. ~10K miles since buying it in February.
